Details and features of Flex by Google Pay

Flex is a digital co-branded credit card
In simple terms, Flex is a UPI-based, digital co-branded credit card that is fully available within the Google Pay app. Users can apply for the card within the app in just a few minutes without any paperwork and start using it as soon as it's approved. Built on the RuPay network, it can be used to make payments with millions of offline and online merchants that accept RuPay, just like regular UPI transactions.
The application and approval process is completely digital
According to Google, the technology giant, Flex offers several features that simplify the credit process. First, the application and approval process is completely digital (Google says it takes only a few minutes). Thanks to the RuPay integration, payments made with the credit card will be accepted at a wide range of online and offline stores.
Google and Axis Bank also introduced a rewards system.
Google Pay and Axis Bank are also introducing a rewards system where users earn 'stars' for making transactions. The company says each star is worth 1 rupee and can be redeemed instantly during any future transaction. Like traditional credit cards, the Flex card also offers a flexible repayment option. Users can either pay the full amount or convert their bills into EMIs. Additionally, users get controls within the app to manage transaction limits, block and unblock their card, or reset their PIN.
Google Pay's Flex feature has launched today, and the company plans to make it available to all users in the coming months. Currently, interested users can join the waiting list in the UPI app.
