New Delhi: Hunter King is glowing brighter than her Hallmark holiday lights. The 32-year-old actress, fresh off her new movie premiere, spilt juicy details about her dreamy Italy wedding with fiancé Chris Copier.

Calling him her “biggest cheerleader,” Hunter shared how their love story started on a movie set and led to a beach proposal that left her “blacked out” in joy. With the big day nearing, fans can’t wait—what’s next for this Hollywood sweetheart?

Hunter King got engaged to filmmaker Chris Copier in 2024, as reported by Just Jared. The couple met in 2022 on the set of the indie movie Give Me Your Eyes, where King played Jael Jones, and Copier served as first assistant director. They started dating over a year later and have collaborated on projects like Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.

King recently shared her wedding plans in an interview with Just Jared. “The big day is coming up! We’re still finishing up some of the planning, but I’m just so excited to marry the love of my life,” she said. She added, “He is my biggest supporter and cheerleader, and I couldn’t ask for a better teammate to do life with”. “‘Icing on the cake is getting to say what I do in Italy with our closest friends and family.”

 Magical proposal

Hunter opened up about the proposal on Today with Hoda and Jenna. The couple was in Santa Barbara, renting bikes with their two puppies and riding along the coast before heading to the beach. Chris asked to take photos, then “went down on one knee”. King recalled, “I just started jumping up and down. I blacked out, and I think I said, ‘Are you sure, are you sure, are you sure?”. Chris replied, “You need to say yes so I can give you your ring” . She first noticed him on the Give Me Your Eyes set, calling him “cute”.

King’s new movie A Make of Break Holiday aired on Hallmark Channel, where she plays Liv opposite Evan Roderick. She rose to fame on CBS shows Life in Pieces and The Young and the Restless, and is the older sister of actress Joey King.
