Presenter Bradley Walsh once "lost it" as he raged at a contestant in an unaired scene from ITV's The Chase. The 65-year-old TV host told a contestant off, after she repeatedly touched the question desk.

The clip, which has since been shared on social media, showed a player named Shirin asking where she puts her hands as she reached out for the surface in front of her. "I beg your pardon," exclaimed Brad, "no, do not touch the desk, whatever you do. Don't touch the desk." The contestant then continuously said: "Ok, ok," as she obediently held her hands in front of her, far away from the desk. She added: "I've seen the bloopers, I know that you are really protective of the desk," before bursting out laughing. But the host did not join in on the giggles, instead exclaiming: "Say what?" She repeated herself as Brad flung his arms out in disbelief before explaining: "That's a joke though!"

He then turned to the off-screen show bosses as he asked: "Why have you been putting that in the bloopers?" Bradley then hilariously went against his own rule as he frantically slapped the desk multiple times, whilst gritting his teeth.

"Touch the desk as much as you like," he yelled. "It's not my desk! Shirin you can touch it. Touch it!" Shirin gently laid her hand on it as Brad demanded: "No, more than that. Feel free!"

Laughing over Bradley's over-the-top reaction, the player gingerly admitted: "I didn't want to upset anyone." Eventually, the host joined in on her laughter.

It's not the first time that Brad has made it to the show's blooper reel. A few years back, Shaun 'The Dark Destroyer' Wallace left the ITV presenter gobsmacked with a crude joke.

Speaking to a contestant, the Chaser said: "I've got a road trip for you. A bus back to Blackpool."

Unfortunately, his voice was a little slurred so Shaun's goading didn't sound as impressive as intended.

The Chase presenter Bradley couldn't help mocking the Chaser's garbled speech in the unaired deleted scene.

He jabbed and teased: "What, you've got a mouthful of marbles? What're you doing?" Ocean chimed in: "He's got a mouthful of conkers!"

Bradley laughed and said: "Indeed, he's got his own conkers in his mouth."

"Wouldn't be the first time," Shaun chuckled, prompting uproarious laughter from the audience. Bradley was stunned by the comment and took several moments to compose himself.
