Now Pakistan's Punjab Police has arrested a bigger dacoit than Rahman. The name of this dacoit is Gora Umrani. A reward of Rs 1 crore (Pakistani) was placed on Gora.
According to BBC Urdu, Pakistan's Punjab Police imposed a blockade in Katcha area, after which 11 members of Umrani gang surrendered before the police. Police have arrested more than 45 dacoits of Umrani gang so far this year.
Umrani is considered the most dreaded member of the gang. This gang has dominance in Punjab and Sindh provinces of Pakistan. Gang members commit crimes like robbery, murder and extortion. Gang members steal cars in the middle of the road. This gang had become a headache for the Punjab government. There are more than 35 written cases registered against Gora. Most of these are cases of murder, ransom and arms supply.
Gora Umrani was born in Dera Khan area of Punjab. According to Punjab Police, Gora Gang had dangerous weapons like SMG, G-3, LMG, through which they used to dodge even the local level police. The police were so upset with Gora that they had put a reward of Rs 1 crore on him. In Pakistan, a reward of only Rs 50 lakh was kept on Rehman dacoit.
Gora Umrani also has Balochistan connection like dacoit Rehman. Gora also belongs to Balochistan. In the year 2022, a big meeting of Balochistan Liberation Army was held at Gora's house. In this meeting, 7000 fighters had gathered at Gora Rahmani's house. It is said that after this Gora came in the hitlist of the police and the government.
The main work of Balochistan Liberation Army is to liberate Baloch from Pakistan Army. In the year 2025, BLA carried out more than 700 attacks on Pakistan Army. More than 200 Pakistani soldiers died due to these attacks.
