Aadhaar New Update: UIDAI is making the identity system even easier with a new Aadhaar app. Now, the Aadhaar of the entire family can be managed and verified using a single mobile phone.

Aadhaar New Update: Previously, when traveling with family, the hassle of identity verification had to be repeated every time. Each family member's Aadhaar card, its photocopy, or printout had to be carried in every pocket. Without it, many problems were encountered. But now all these problems are about to end. The government and UIDAI are launching a new, family-friendly version of the Aadhaar app, which will make digital identity even smarter.

With this update, the identities of the entire family can now be linked to a single mobile phone, making travel, check-in, and identity verification a matter of seconds. This will also significantly reduce the hassle of handling identity documents for elderly people or young children. The new app will provide the option to keep family data safe in one place, eliminating the need to repeatedly show physical cards.

How will the entire family be connected on a single phone?

The most significant feature of the new family-friendly Aadhaar app is that now all family members will not need to install the Aadhaar app on separate phones. The head of the household can add the profiles of other family members to their own app, whether they are children or elderly. This allows a family's identity to be easily verified on a single screen.

This feature will be especially helpful during identity verification at airports, hotels, railway stations, and other similar places. The scan-and-verify feature will make check-in much faster for travelers and reduce waiting times in lines. Using the digital app also eliminates the fear of losing physical cards. The full version will be launched tomorrow.

The full version of the Aadhaar app will be launched by UIDAI tomorrow, January 28th.  This day is also celebrated as UIDAI Day. The government's aim is to make travel easier for senior citizens who travel frequently and to completely digitize the identification system. With this new rule, UIDAI will centralize all the data. This means that family data will be stored safely in one place on a single phone. Even those elderly people who don't use smartphones will not face any difficulties.
