Lokayukta officials on Friday (January 30) carried out early morning raids at five locations linked to B. Kallesh, Administrative Officer of Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), giving him a major shock.

The raids were conducted simultaneously at Navachetana College in Bhagyanagar near Koppal, Kallesh’s residence, his private office, a cooperative bank, and the houses of his relatives. Lokayukta teams are carrying out searches at all locations.

The operation is being led by Raichur Lokayukta DSP Lokesh, with five teams drawn from Koppal, Raichur, Gadag, and Haveri districts. Officials are scrutinising documents and searching for important records during the raids.
