There was a huge uproar over Rahul Gandhi's statement during the discussion on the President's address in Parliament. The reason for the uproar was the book of former army chief Manoj Mukund Naravane, which has not been published yet. Citing this book, Rahul attacked the Modi government. During this, he also raised the issue of Chinese infiltration, which has been mentioned in Naravane's book.

During this, Rahul used some objectionable words for PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, which were removed from the Lok Sabha records. Apart from this, Rahul also said that Naravane has also written about the character of Prime Minister Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath in the book. This line was also removed from the Lok Sabha records.
