Russia’s big attack on Ukraine, fired 450 drones and 70 missiles, NATO Chief reached Kiev

Russia has launched the biggest attack on Ukraine this year. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russia fired about 450 long-range drones and 70 different types of missiles in a single night. These also included 32 ballistic missiles, which is said to be the highest number so far. This attack was carried out on at least five areas of Ukraine.

According to officials, at least 10 people have been injured in this attack. This attack took place when NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte had reached Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Apart from this, talks were to be held in Abu Dhabi under the mediation of America to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. Zelensky said that just a few hours ago, 28 cruise and 43 ballistic missiles were also fired.

Temperature below zero in Ukraine

Zelensky said that Russia Deliberately targeting Ukraine's electricity system so that people face problems during the cold season. He says that Russia wants that people should not be able to get essential facilities like lighting, heating and water. Ukraine's private power company DTEK said that this was the biggest attack on the power system this year. At the time of the attack, the temperature in Kiev had reached minus 20 degrees Celsius and the next day the temperature remained at minus 16 degrees.

Due to the attack, many residential areas of Kyiv caught fire. A kindergarten and a gas station were also damaged. At least five people were injured in the capital. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that by morning heating facilities had stopped in 1,170 apartment buildings of the city. Due to this, the work of repairing electricity and heating was also affected.

NATO will continue to help: Rutte

Russia also attacked Kharkiv and Odessa areas of Ukraine. Apart from this, the Hall of Fame of the National Museum related to the Second World War in Kiev was also damaged. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said in the Ukrainian Parliament that NATO countries will continue to help Ukraine.

He said that since last year, NATO countries have provided 75% of the missiles and 90% of air defense systems to Ukraine. Zelensky has appealed to the allied countries to send more air defense systems.
