The Developer Options available on Android phones aren't just for developers. By adjusting some of these settings, you can make your phone incredibly smooth and significantly improve its performance.

If you use an Android phone, you'll find a Developer Options section. The name suggests it's only for Android developers, and while that's partly true, it also contains several settings that are very useful for regular users. If you configure these settings correctly, your phone will run incredibly smoothly, and you'll experience top-notch performance.

These settings will give you amazing performance:

Limit Background Activities - Multitasking is easy on Android, but it puts a load on the processor and battery. Therefore, go to Developer Mode and set the background process limit to 2 or 3. This will prevent too many apps from running simultaneously, and your phone will run smoothly.

Reduce Logger Buffer Size

Your phone records all your activities. This is a useful feature for developers, but it's not very useful for average users. Android defaults to a large buffer size. This means it consumes more of your phone's memory, and the CPU has to work harder. To reduce this, set the Logger Buffer Size to 64K or 256K. You can even turn it off completely if you want.

Force Peak Refresh Rate

If you're not worried about battery life, this setting will make your phone usage incredibly smooth. Even if your phone has a high refresh rate, Android reduces it to save battery. To prevent this, you can enable the Force Peak Refresh Rate option. This will make scrolling through social media a much more enjoyable and seamless experience.

Change the Animation Scale

Whether it's app transitions or menu pop-ups, everything depends on animations. These animations work flawlessly on high-end phones, but on mid-range or entry-level phones, they can slow down the process. By going into Developer Options, you can reduce or completely disable these animations. This will improve your phone's performance.
