The controversy regarding SIR is not stopping across the country. On one hand, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal and on the other hand, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh are continuously raising questions on the government and the Election Commission. In this series, once again Akhilesh Yadav said that SIR has become the biggest issue of the country today and the unfortunate situation is that the Election Commission has become an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He alleged that only those booths where SP had won were being targeted.

Akhilesh Yadav said that out of compulsion against the black misdeeds of BJP, he had to knock on the door of the Supreme Court wearing a black coat. He alleged that the kind of activities that came to light during the by-elections have raised serious questions on the impartiality of the Election Commission. He even sarcastically said that the BJP flag should be placed on the Election Commission.

He alleged that getting fake signatures and thumb impressions through Form-7 is a serious crime, which is a clear violation of Section 31 and 32 of the Election Rules.

Election Commission is targeting SP voters- Akhilesh

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that wrong work is being done in the name of checking the voter list in Uttar Pradesh. He said that the government has appointed some professional agencies, which with the help of computer data are selecting those polling stations (booths) where the Samajwadi Party had won.

According to Akhilesh Yadav, a large number of Form-7s are being filled at these booths. Form-7 is used to remove a person's name from the voter list or to lodge an objection to it. They allege that all this is being done in a planned manner. He said that due to this people protested at many places and the situation has worsened. He said that with its help BJP has been able to win the elections in Bihar.

There are only talks about digital India - Akhilesh

The SP chief said that the BJP government talks about Digital India and developed India, but the budget is not being made for the entire country but only for 5 percent of the multinational companies and big capitalists. He alleged that the agreements being made with America and Europe are not deals but a conspiracy to hand over the country's market to big hands.

Akhilesh Yadav raised the question as to whose software is being used in the Election Commission. Who is operating them and who has control from the back-office.

He demanded that the process of Form-7 should be immediately canceled and only the process of Form-6 should be implemented. Also said that Samajwadi Party MLAs will surround the government with full preparation and will raise issues like corruption, inflation, farmers, youth, women's safety and increasing crime in the House.

BLOs are being suppressed in the state – SP chief

The SP chief alleged that statements of many BLOs are coming out in the state, in which it has been said that they are being suppressed and threatened. However, he also said that despite this, a large number of BLOs are standing strongly to save democracy.

Akhilesh Yadav said that it is the responsibility of the Election Commission to remain impartial and protect the Constitution and democracy, and not become a medium to weaken the system. He claimed that every black act of BJP is coming to light and now the people of the country want answers as to why the government and the Election Commission are not honest.
