Arsenal and Man City's remaining fixtures compared as Premier League title race takes new twist
Football March 01, 2026 06:39 AM

Manchester City ate further into Arsenal's lead at the top of the Premier League table on Saturday evening, as the race for the title takes a dramatic twist in a crucial part of the season.

The Sky Blues were without Erling Haaland for their 5.30pm kick-off with Leeds United at Elland Road, but the omission of their talisman who has 22 goals to his name from 27 appearances this season didn't prevent them from taking all three points from the Peacocks.

January signing Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring for City two minutes into first-half extra time; a goal which ultimately proved to be decisive in the fixture.

With City and Arsenal now having just ten games remaining in 2025/26, the race for the Premier League title may be out of the Gunners' hands - especially considering the two sides will meet in a six-pointer at the Etihad Stadium come April 18.

The reverse fixture at Emirates Stadium in September ended in a 1-1 draw with goals from Haaland and Gabriel Martinelli. But with a league title to play for, Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta will be looking to snap up all three points from their next encounter.

Before the two sides meet once more, both Arsenal and City have a number of matches which they will have to be perfect in should they harbour hopes of domestic silverware this season. Here, football.london breaks down each team's remaining 10 Premier League fixtures...
