President Droupadi Murmu continued her spiritual tour in Uttar Pradesh, visiting Vrindavan to seek blessings from Premanand Maharaj. During her visit, she sought Premanand Maharaj's blessings and held a spiritual interaction with him. Her itinerary includes a visit to the Neem Karoli Baba memorial and the inauguration of an Oncology Block at Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram.

President Droupadi Murmu met renowned saint Premanand Maharaj on Friday at his Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan as part of her ongoing three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. During her visit, she sought the saint’s blessings and held a spiritual interaction with him.

President to visit Neem Karoli Baba memorial

During her visit, Droupadi Murmu will continue her spiritually significant tour with a visit to the memorial of Neem Karoli Baba, followed by the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Oncology Block at Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram. The new facility is expected to significantly boost cancer treatment infrastructure in the region.

During her visit, the President will also stop at Vatsalya Gram, founded by Sadhvi Ritambhara, an institution widely recognised for its work in caring for the elderly and orphaned children.



Her visit will conclude on March 21 with prayers at the revered Danghati Temple, followed by the sacred Govardhan Parikrama—a seven-mile spiritual circuit—before departing for New Delhi.

President Murmu arrived in Uttar Pradesh on March 19 and has been visiting key religious hubs including Ayodhya, Mathura and Vrindavan, where she is participating in major ceremonies and public engagements.

On her arrival in Ayodhya, she was received by Anandiben Patel, Yogi Adityanath, and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak.

Earlier, in Mathura, the President visited the ISKCON Temple, where she offered prayers and took part in the evening aarti amid devotional chants. She also paid tribute at the samadhi of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and offered prayers at the Gaur Nitai, Krishna Balaram and Shyam Sunder shrines.

In a major religious milestone, the President installed the ‘Shri Ram Yantra’ at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, offering prayers amid Vedic chants. The sacred Yantra has been placed on the temple’s second and final level, symbolising completion of the grand मंदिर.

The rituals were conducted by Vedic scholars from southern India, Kashi and Ayodhya under the guidance of priest Ganeshwar Shastri, marking the formal completion of the temple’s construction.
