Gold or yellow cloth
According to Vastu experts, buying gold on Ram Navami is very auspicious. It is believed that buying a small amount of gold on this day pleases Goddess Lakshmi and brings prosperity to the family. However, at the current market price of gold, it may not be possible for everyone to buy it. In that case, you can buy new yellow clothes or a piece of yellow cloth as an alternative. According to the scriptures, yellow is the symbol of Lord Jupiter. Bringing yellow cloth in the house on this day will remove financial crisis and pave the way for prosperity.

silver coin
Shastras suggest buying silver coins on Ram Navami to overcome financial tension. Buy a silver coin and keep it at the place of worship. After puja, wrap the coin in red cloth and keep it in cupboard or chest. It creates new sources of income. Savings increase.

yellow conch
In Hinduism, any manglik ceremony is incomplete without the blowing of the conch. Bring home a fresh yellow conch on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. Placing this conch on Tagore’s seat destroys the Vast Dosha of the house. The sacred sound of the conch drives away the alakshmi from the house and brings back positive energy.

Ocher flag
The special organ of Ram Navami is Hanumanji’s dhvaja or flag. Placing a yellow or ocher flag on the roof of a house or temple on this day is very fruitful. According to Vastu, flying this nishan in the north-east corner of the house or on the roof will ward off sudden danger to the family. It protects the family from the evil eye and maintains happiness and prosperity.

Tulsi plant
Narayan’s favorite is Tulsi. Since Sri Ramachandra is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, his puja is not complete without Tulsi. If you don’t have a tulsi tree at home, bring a sapling and plant it on Ram Navami. By lighting a lamp in Tulsitala every morning and evening, the evils of the household are removed.
