Hyderabad: A fire broke out due to a short circuit at Specsmakers optical shop at Bapuji Nagar, Bowenpally, at around 11:15 am on Saturday, March 28.

Tenders from Secunderabad Cantonment and Secunderabad fire stations attended the fire and doused it within an hour. While major damage was done to the optical shop, the fire luckily did not spread to other shops. The total damage is yet to be ascertained, officials said.
