Two innocent sisters lost their lives due to ready to eat dosa in Ahmedabad, father admitted to hospital… dairy owner gave clarification

Ahmedabad News: A soul-shattering news has come out from Chandkheda area in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, which has raised serious questions on food safety and ready-to-eat goods sold in the market. Dosa batter (ready to eat dosa) brought from the market ruined the happiness of a smiling family. There is an atmosphere of mourning and panic in the entire area after the suspicious death of two real sisters aged just three months and three and a half years.

The incident began on April 1, when the family had purchased batter for making dosa from the famous 'Ghanshyam Dairy' of Chandkheda. Family members allege that the untoward incident started after eating dosa made from this batter. First of all the head of the house (father) ate dosa and when his health deteriorated he had to be admitted to the hospital. At that time the family had no idea that it could be directly related to dosa batter.

The next day the mother and her three and a half year old elder daughter also ate the same dosa. Since the little girl (3 months) was still dependent on mother's milk, the effects of the infection reached her too. Suddenly the condition of both the innocent children and the mother also started deteriorating. The younger girl died during treatment, while the elder sister also died the next day.

Raid on dairy and investigation of FSL

As soon as the news of the death of innocent people spread, the administration and health department swung into action. The team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has raided 'Ghanshyam Dairy' and taken samples of food items and pickles available there.

On the other hand, the dairy manager defended the allegations and said, 'We sell more than 100 kg of batter daily, but this has happened to only this one family. We have voice recording and CCTV footage. We also took feedback from other customers, but did not receive any complaints from anywhere.

Awaiting report and big warning

Police and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) are investigating the matter thoroughly. Now all eyes are on the final report of FSL, which will clarify whether the actual cause of death was food poisoning or there was a major mistake in preserving the batter.

This incident is a warning to every citizen who depends on food items sold openly from the market. How a small carelessness swallowed two innocent lives has shocked every parent in the city.
