Zhu Mingyue, a Chinese beauty influencer known online as Mi Duo, has died at the age of 41 after a two-year battle with a rare cancer.

The news was confirmed by her daughter, who shared that Zhu had stopped responding to treatment in her final days. She passed away on March 26 in Harbin, China, leaving behind her husband and three children.

Zhu began her career as a model before building her own businesses and growing a loyal audience online. Through her warmth and authenticity, she gained more than 100,000 followers on Douyin, where she shared not only beauty content but also moments from her everyday life.

In 2024, her life took a devastating turn when she was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive soft tissue cancer. Doctors told her she had up to two years to live. Despite the prognosis, Zhu chose to fight and openly document her journey.

Throughout her illness, she continued posting updates, allowing her followers to witness both her strength and vulnerability.

She spoke candidly about her regrets, warning others about the toll of unhealthy habits like staying up late into the early hours, eating oily takeaway food and living with prolonged stress and anxiety had weakened her immune system over time.

As her condition worsened her thoughts remained firmly with her family.

According to her daughter, she faced her final moments with quiet strength, choosing to comfort those around her rather than dwell on her own pain.

She continued to reassure her loved ones, gently telling them that she would be fine and offering them a sense of peace in an otherwise devastating time.

Her daughter remembered her as a devoted mother and a warrior, whose love for her family never wavered.
