If we compare the vote percentage of 2021 assembly elections in Bengal and the data of voters removed during SIR, an interesting pattern emerges. In the districts where TMC got the lead in 2021, the deletion rate is quite high in many places. However, BJP is also not untouched by this. A similar trend can be seen in the districts where BJP's influence was seen in 2021. For example, in Cooch Behar in 2021, BJP got 49.07% votes. 50.07 percent votes were cast here in SIR.
Along with Cooch Behar, Alipurduar where BJP got 49.70% votes in 2021, 44.8% names have been removed. Even in some districts where the contest was very close in 2021, the deletion rate has been high. For example, in East Midnapur (BJP 46.90 percent and TMC 46.85 percent), 33.3 percent names have been cut. 16.7% deletion occurred in Bankura. Similarly, only 17.7% deletion occurred in Purulia.
