CRPF conducts bumper recruitment, 9195 posts vacant, application starts from April 20, fee Rs 100

Central Reserve Police Force has issued recruitment for tradesman posts (CRPF Recruitment 2026). The application process for which is going to start from 20th April. In which selection process, application process, eligibility and other information is given in detail. That is why it is advised to fill the form only after reading the notification.

The total number of vacancies is 9,195. Out of which there are 20 vacancies for Pioneer Wing and 9175 vacancies for Technical and Tradesman. To fill the form, male candidates of General, EWS and OBC categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. SC, ST, women candidates and a serviceman are exempted from fee payment. Payment will be accepted in online mode only.

Educational qualification

It is mandatory to have 10th pass for all posts. Apart from this, one should also have trade qualification and experience. For the post of Driver, it will be mandatory for the candidates to have HTV Driving License and passing the driving test. For Motor Mechanic Vehicle, it is necessary to have 2 year ITI qualification with one year experience in Mechanic Motor Vehicle or 3 year apprenticeship with 1 year experience. For Pioneer Wing (Mason/Electrician), candidates must have one year experience and certificate in the relevant trade.

age limit

The age limit prescribed for the post of Constable Driver is minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years. Date of birth should be between 2 January 1999 to 1 January 2005. For the remaining posts, the minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 23 years. Date of birth should be between 2 January 2003 to 1 January 2008. SC/ST will be given relaxation of 5 years, OBC will be given 3 years and ex-serviceman will be given 3 years.

selection process

The CRPF Tradesman Recruitment process will involve several stages. First of all, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted. Selected candidates will be able to appear in computer based test mode. After this trade/skill test will be organized. Then there will be document verification and medical examination. The written examination will be of total 100 marks. 100 multiple choice questions will be asked in this. Duration of the exam will be 2 hours. Question papers will be available in Hindi and English medium. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
