Crime Report: A shocking incident has emerged from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The Cuttack-Bhubaneswar police have arrested an individual who had stayed away from crime for ten years. During this period, he established 15 shops. Recently, financial struggles led him back to his old ways, with his wife actively participating in the crimes. Following the suspect's confession, police also arrested his wife.
According to Police Commissioner Suresh Dev Datt Singh, the suspect has been identified as Rakesh Raut. He was arrested by the Chandrasekharpur police, where he has approximately six cases registered against him. Additionally, there are several criminal cases against him in other police jurisdictions. After his arrest, police recovered eight gold chains from his possession, three of which have been identified by the victims. The police are now working to identify other victims as they investigate further.
