The number of mosquitoes increases rapidly during summer and rainy season. These small looking insects cause spread of many serious diseases like dengue, malaria and chikungunya. Often we think that mosquitoes come from outside, but the truth is that some habits and things in our house attract them.
Accumulated water around the house is the biggest reason for the breeding of mosquitoes. If water stagnates in coolers, pots, buckets, tires or any container kept on the roof, it becomes an ideal place for mosquitoes to lay eggs. Within a few days, this water can create an entire colony of mosquitoes. Therefore, it is important to change the water every 2-3 days or empty it completely.
