'BadAss Ravi Kumar' is a musical action film which was released in theaters on 7 February 2025. Himesh Reshammiya was in the lead role in this film. This movie is a spin-off of the 2014 film 'The Xpose' and is directed by first-time filmmaker Keith Gomes. 14 months after its theatrical release, 'BadAss Ravi Kumar' is now available for streaming on Jio Hotstar with Hindi audio and English subtitles. Billed as a tribute to 80s Bollywood films, the digital release of 'BadAss Ravi Kumar' was delayed due to some disputes between Himesh Reshammiya and OTT platforms.
According to reports, Himesh Reshammiya had set a condition that the OTT platform would only get the rights to stream the entire film, while all promotional clips, music videos and other promotional content would be reserved for his YouTube channel only. Prabhu Deva, Simona J, Kirti Kulhari, Sunny Leone, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Manish Wadhwa, Rajesh Sharma, Pawan Malhotra, Mohan Joshi and other actors were also seen in this film. Made with a budget of just Rs 20 crore, this film had a worldwide collection of Rs 11 crore. It has got 6.7 rating on IMDb.
