Sobé Decor presents “Everyday Malaysia – Curated Cultural Showcase” at Kukoo Pop Up inside Sobé Decor, Chennai, bringing together Malaysian craft, cuisine, and cultural storytelling in an intimate experiential setting.

As part of Sobé Decor’s vision to create spaces that go beyond retail, the showcase transforms the store into a cultural platform celebrating everyday Malaysian traditions through design, flavour, and community engagement.

Held in collaboration with Malaysian cultural initiative Kraf Angaadi and culinary concept It’s Pandan Only, the event introduces Chennai audiences to Malaysian handicrafts alongside pandan-led culinary storytelling. Malaysian artisan pieces are integrated into curated table settings, while a guided session by Shivaani, Founder of It’s Pandan Only, explores pandan’s cultural significance and its shared culinary connections between Malaysia and India.

The showcase is further elevated by the presence of representatives from the Consulate General of Malaysia in Chennai and members of Perwakilan Chennai, reinforcing the event’s role in strengthening cultural exchange and diplomatic engagement between Malaysia and India.
