Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the 'Art of Living International Center' on May 10 on its 45th anniversary. According to 'Art of Living', this tour is also taking place on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. During his visit, PM Modi will inaugurate several service initiatives at this spiritual center to mark the occasion.
According to media reports, this yatra is being organized to commemorate the 45th foundation day of the Art of Living Center and the 70th birthday of its founder Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the 'Dhyan Mandir' at the center on May 10. On this special occasion, PM Modi will also launch new service initiatives of the organization. This program is being organized to recognize the contribution of the institution in the field of spiritual and social welfare.
In March, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at the 'Art of Living Centre' in Sheesham Jhadi, Rishikesh. Where he took the blessings of this spiritual guru. Their discussion included various issues related to social harmony and spiritual awareness. “The ‘Art of Living Foundation’ established by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is playing an important role in promoting peace, yoga and human values across the world,” the Chief Minister said, adding that the guidance of this guru spreads positive energy in the society.
During this, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said, “The spiritual heritage and natural beauty of Uttarakhand gives it a unique global identity, and collective efforts are needed to make it even stronger.” The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of guidance from saints and spiritual leaders for the overall development of the state. Dhami said, “Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is constantly guiding people to follow the right path,” and wished that the youth should awaken the feeling of patriotism within themselves and work for the society.
