IPL 2026: CSK beats DC by eight wickets, Samson’s half-century; Karthik also shined

New Delhi. The 48th match of IPL 2026 was played on Tuesday between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In which Chennai Super Kings won by 8 wickets. This match took place in Arun Jaitley Stadium. Where Delhi won the toss and decided to bat first. Delhi had scored 155 runs losing 7 wickets. Which Chennai chased in the 18th over.

Sanju played a stormy innings

In reply to 156 runs, CSK did not have a good start and once again Gaikwad flopped. He was out after scoring only 6 runs. But Sanju Samson took charge. First he formed a partnership with Urvil and then handled the innings with Karthik Sharma and scored a fifty.

    Sanju Samson scored unbeaten 87 runs in 52 balls while Karthik scored 41 runs in 31 balls. Sanju hit 7 fours and 6 sixes in his innings. On the basis of which CSK won the match in the 18th over itself. With this victory, CSK has come to sixth position with 10 points in 10 matches. Whereas Delhi is at number 7 with 8 points.

    Delhi, who came to bat first, did not have a good start. Pathum Nissanka lost his wicket in the fourth over itself. After this, KL Rahul also got out after scoring 12 runs. After this the decline of Delhi’s wickets started.

    But after this Sameer Rizvi and Tristan Stubbs took over the innings. 38 runs came from Stubbs’ bat. He also hit 2 sixes in his innings. Whereas, 34 runs came from Rizvi’s bat. On the basis of which Delhi scored 155 runs after losing 7 wickets.
