New Delhi: Honda Cars India has officially introduced the all-new Honda ZR-V in the Indian market, expanding its premium hybrid SUV lineup. Imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) from Japan, the model marks the brand’s return to the mid-size premium hybrid SUV space with a strong focus on design, performance and technology.

The launch positions the ZR-V alongside the updated Honda City hybrid, strengthening Honda’s presence in India’s growing electrified vehicle segment.

Sporty Design and Exterior Styling

The Honda ZR-V features a sleek aerodynamic SUV profile with sharp body lines and a bold front fascia. It gets a glossy black vertical-slat grille, slim full-LED headlamps with integrated DRLs and sequential indicators. Air intakes placed below the headlights improve airflow efficiency.

At the rear, the SUV features LED tail lamps, a body-coloured spoiler and a dual exhaust-style finish. The model rides on 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, adding to its sporty stance.

In terms of size, the ZR-V measures 4,567 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,655 mm, giving it a balanced mid-size SUV footprint.

Premium Cabin and Feature-Rich Interior

Inside, the SUV gets a dual-screen layout with a 9-inch infotainment display and a 10.25-inch digital driver cluster. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Key comfort features include a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, powered front seats, ambient lighting and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.

The cabin follows a sporty all-black theme with soft-touch materials and a clean horizontal dashboard design. Practicality is enhanced with multiple storage spaces and a boot capacity of up to 1,313 liters with rear seats folded.

Hybrid Powertrain and Performance

Powering the SUV is a 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine paired with Honda’s e:HEV dual-motor hybrid system and e-CVT gearbox. The setup delivers 184 bhp and 315 Nm of torque.

Honda claims a fuel efficiency of 22.79 km/l, with driving modes including Eco, Normal and Sport. The system automatically switches between electric, hybrid and engine drive modes based on conditions.

Safety, ADAS and Launch Details

The ZR-V comes equipped with Honda SENSING ADAS suite, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, collision mitigation braking and road departure mitigation. It also offers eight airbags, 360-degree camera and stability control systems.

Bookings have begun across India, with deliveries expected from July 2026. The SUV comes with a standard 3-year unlimited warranty, extendable up to 7 years, along with long-term battery protection.
