The Ecuador national football team has officially announced the list of players who will represent the country at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The announcement was made through their official account on Monday, 1 June 2026.
Head coach Sebastian Beccacece has selected a 26-player squad for the upcoming global tournament.
For the 2026 World Cup, Ecuador will rely on a strong mix of young talents and experienced players to compete at the highest level.
Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo is expected to be the heartbeat of the team’s midfield, regarded as one of the most crucial figures in the squad.
In defence, the key names include Piero Hincapie (Arsenal player on loan from Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Willian Pacho (Paris Saint-Germain), and Pervis Estupinan (AC Milan), who are all expected to be mainstays at the back.
Meanwhile, veteran striker and team captain Enner Valencia (Pachuca) remains the focal point in attack.
In addition, the Ecuador coach has called up several promising young players who have started to attract global attention, such as Kendry Paez (River Plate player on loan from Chelsea), Joel Ordonez (Club Brugge), and Alan Minda (Atletico Mineiro).
