CGBSE Supplementary Exam 2026: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), Raipur, has released the detailed schedule for the Class 10 and Class 12 supplementary examinations for the year 2026. According to the timetable issued by the Board, students who failed the main examination or wish to improve their scores will be granted another opportunity. The supplementary examination is also known as the 'Second Main and Opportunity Examination.'

The Board has made the examination schedule available on its official website. All examinations will be conducted in a single shift, and the scheduled time for the exams is from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM.

Class 12 Supplementary Exams to Begin on July 8

The Higher Secondary (Class 12) supplementary examinations will commence on July 8, 2026, and conclude on July 22, 2026. The first paper of the examination will be for the subject of Hindi. Subsequently, examinations for various other subjects will be conducted on their respective scheduled dates.

Key dates include examinations for English on July 10; Sanskrit on July 11; Geography and Physics on July 15; Political Science, Chemistry, and Accountancy on July 17; Mathematics on July 21; and Biology, Economics, Computer Applications, Music, Dance, and other subjects on July 22. **Class 10 Supplementary Exams to Begin on July 9**

The High School (Class 10) supplementary examinations will commence on July 9 and will be conducted until July 21, 2026. The examinations will begin with the Mathematics subject.

Following this, exams for the First Language (Hindi) will be held on July 11; the Second Language (English) on July 14; Science on July 16; Social Science on July 18; and on July 20, examinations will be conducted for Sanskrit, Marathi, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, and other Third Language subjects. The examinations for Music and Drawing subjects will take place on July 21.

**Schedule at Examination Centers**
The Board has also released a detailed schedule for the examination days. According to this, students must be seated in the examination hall by 9:00 AM. Answer sheets will be distributed at 9:05 AM, while question papers will be provided for reading at 9:10 AM. Students will be allotted time from 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM to write their answers.

**Exams May Be Held Even on Holidays**
The CGBSE has clarified that if any local or public holiday falls during the examination period, the exams will still be conducted strictly according to the pre-determined schedule.

The Board also stated that practical and project examinations for private candidates will be organized by their respective examination centers. If necessary, these examinations may be conducted even on holidays. Students are advised to remain in contact with their Center Superintendents regarding the dates for practical examinations and for any other instructions.
