Tezzbuzz Desk- Messaging platform WhatsApp is preparing to bring a new and very special privacy feature for its users. According to reports, the company is working on the “View Once Message” feature, after which the sent text message will automatically disappear after being read once.

This feature is currently in the development stage and may be introduced to users soon.

What is WhatsApp View Once Message feature?

This feature will work like the existing “View Once” photo and video feature, but will now also include text messages. According to reports, this feature is visible in the beta versions of both Android and iOS, although it is not available for testing right now.

How will this feature work?

It will be very easy to use this feature.

Process:

• user will type message
• Long press the send button
• “Send as View Once” option will appear
• Upon selection the message will become viewable once

Privacy will become stronger

This feature is being designed keeping in mind the privacy of the users.

What the receiver will not be able to do:

• Will not be able to copy the message
• will not be able to forward
• can’t share
• It is possible that screenshots and screen recording may also be banned.

Support will be available in both personal and group chat

This feature will work in personal chat as well as group chat. However, according to reports, the possibility of bringing it to WhatsApp channels is said to be less.

When can the feature be launched?

At present WhatsApp has not made any official announcement regarding this feature. It is currently in the development and beta testing stage, so it may take time to reach all users.

If this feature is launched then the way of messaging can completely change. Users will be able to send text messages that can be read only once and then disappear forever.
