Young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi made a splash while debuting for India-A in the recently held ODI tri-series in Sri Lanka. 15 year old Vaibhav had scored 211 runs in 5 matches at a good strike rate of 200.95. He played an inning of 94 runs in 29 balls against Sri Lanka A in the final, due to which India A won the title. Vaibhav is now in Ireland with the senior Indian team, where he can start his international career.
Vaibhav, who hails from Samastipur, Bihar, will become the youngest Indian player to debut in international cricket. Meanwhile, another Bihari player has made his debut for India-A. We are talking about Ayush Pandey, who plays for Chhattisgarh in domestic cricket but was born in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Ayush has been included in the playing XI of India-A in the first unofficial test match against Sri Lanka-A.
The first unofficial Test match between India-A and Sri Lanka-A is being played in Galle. In this match, India A team is batting first after winning the toss. Debutant Ayush was sent to open with Sai Sudarshan. The pair made a partnership of 82 runs for the first wicket. Ayush was out just before lunch after scoring 25 runs. He hit 3 fours in his innings. Sudarshan is present at the crease after scoring 53 runs.
