Experts said that when we take tea immediately after eating, the tannins present in the tea bind with the iron present in our food and reduce the absorption of this iron. Not only iron, but these tannins can also bind with zinc and calcium and reduce their absorption.

He told that another disadvantage of taking tea immediately after eating is that it increases stomach related problems like bloating, which we call bloating.
