On Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Salem Pur Industrial Area in Hathras. During his trip, he announced a significant boost for the local community by unveiling 143 development projects worth ₹548 crores. The Chief Minister also inspected stalls showcasing local products, distributed checks to beneficiaries of government schemes, and personally participated in a rice feeding ceremony for young children.

Political Remarks on Ayodhya

While addressing the gathering, CM Yogi took a dig at Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav's recent comments about transforming Ayodhya into a religious city if his party comes to power. Yogi retorted, "What will you create? Look at your own history; it was your government that fired upon devotees!" He emphasized that under PM Modi's leadership, Ayodhya is shining like never before, prompting envy from the opposition.

Yogi's Strong Statements on Development Funding

Reflecting on the past governance of the Samajwadi Party, Yogi recalled restrictions on celebrating Krishna Janmashtami and the Kanwar Yatra during their rule. He stated, "Today, over 22 temples in Hathras have been beautified. Was this possible during the SP regime? Absolutely not, as funds were diverted for cemetery walls. Our government has redirected that money towards temples, as we need centers of faith, not graveyards."

Advice to Akhilesh Yadav

Yogi Adityanath advised Akhilesh Yadav to stop worrying about Ayodhya, asserting that it has already been adorned by devotees. He suggested that Yadav should reflect on his past actions and visit Ram Lalla to gain some wisdom. Yogi challenged him, saying, "If you truly wish to appear religious, speak openly about Mathura-Vrindavan and the need for a campaign for Krishna's birthplace, just like the Ram Janmabhoomi movement."

Critique of the Opposition

Continuing his critique of the opposition, CM Yogi stated that his government is working tirelessly to provide world-class facilities for pilgrims in Mathura-Vrindavan. He accused the opposition of lacking the courage to support such initiatives, saying, "Your only agenda is to bow down before clerics. You have no vision for preserving the ancient identities of Ayodhya, Mathura, or Kashi. Stop deceiving the public and don’t make the saying 'a frustrated cat scratches the post' come true. Ayodhya does not need anyone's approval for its identity."
