Mumbai: A heart-wrenching conspiracy has been exposed during the Muharram procession in Byculla and JJ Marg area of Mumbai. In the name of a noble cause, the dangerous rat poison zinc phosphide was being distributed in vitamins and painkiller tablets to the innocent people participating in the procession. It is fortunate that this terrible plan was foiled in time due to the alertness of the police and local people, otherwise a major massacre could have occurred. Police have arrested the mastermind of this dreadful conspiracy, Faiyaz Nisar Hussain Premji, resident of Pune. A large quantity of poison has been recovered from him and from his hideout in Dongri.
Capsules of death distributed as medicine for pain and weakness
According to the information received, the accused Fayaz and some people who were deceived by him were handing over capsules to Zareen who were participating in the procession, saying that it was a good vitamin pill for health and it would cure body pain. Many people took it after being deceived by the ‘noble cause’ and ‘free medicine’.
Meanwhile, a young man named Salman Saeed ate this capsule, after which he started feeling severe vomiting and severe restlessness. Salman was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where after treatment by doctors, his condition is now out of danger. Ali Abbas Syed, the victim’s companion, said that Salman had received this bullet from a woman. The woman was so ignorant that thinking it was a noble act, she was going to feed the capsules to her children as well. Only when Salman’s health deteriorated, this whole conspiracy became suspicious and the police was immediately informed.
Conspiracy was being hatched in Dongri’s room for 15 days.
The revelations in the initial police investigation are extremely shocking. Accused Faiyaz was busy carrying out this dreadful conspiracy by renting a room in Dongri area of Mumbai for the last 15 days. The accused had ordered 50 kg of zinc phosphide (rat poison) and about 30,000 empty capsules online. Sitting in Dongri’s room, he was alone filling about 1 gram of poison in each empty capsule. When the police raided his room, 15,000 ready-made poisonous capsules and a large cache of poison were recovered from there.
The accused had a plan to kill 15,000 people
According to the police, accused Faiyaz has confessed to his crime during interrogation. His intention was to prepare a total of 30,000 capsules and distribute them in the procession. He confessed that his aim was to kill about 15,000 people through this poisonous medicine. At present, the police is deeply investigating whether Faiyaz was alone behind this dreadful conspiracy or whether a big network was working with him.
