Police registered a case against 8 people

Police post in-charge Sanjay Sharma told ANI that the deceased has been identified as Rahul, who was a resident of Sector 3, Faridabad. He told that Rahul was married in 2024 and he used to run a clothes shop. Sharma said, "Rahul (28) was a resident of Sector 3. He was having a dispute with his wife, due to which he committed suicide. Rahul was married in 2024 and ran a clothing shop. A case has been registered against eight members of his in-laws. The investigation is underway."

Revealed through Instagram video

Rahul, a resident of Sector 3 Housing Board Colony, had opened his new retail clothing shop on the ground floor of his building just a month ago. The incident came to light when Rahul's brother Amit saw an unexpected, emotional video on Rahul's Instagram account. Sensing immediate danger, the family members ran downstairs and broke the locked glass doors of the shop, but by then Rahul was dead.

In his last recorded video, Rahul pleaded his innocence, saying, "God knows how right I am and how right she is." She then demanded strict legal action against her tormentors and directed that her shop and property should be given only to her mother and siblings.

Police is investigating. Further information is awaited. (ANI)
