The matter regarding theft of donations in Ram temple of Ayodhya is continuously heated. Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav has called it a scam of Rs 20 thousand crores, while party chief Akhilesh Yadav says that the first name of Maryada is Shri Ram and the second name is Constitution, but BJP is betraying both. He also said that if the CCTV cameras are switched off there then all the offerings like gold, silver etc. will be returned.
While speaking on his birthday, Akhilesh on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over misappropriation of donations received for the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya. He accused the BJP of betraying both “Lord Ram” and constitutional values. He talked about “limits” and alleged that BJP was only concerned about getting donations.
He said, "BJP is betraying Lord Ram. The first name of Maryada is Lord Shri Ram and the second is the Constitution. BJP has betrayed both. BJP is afraid that it may stop receiving donations."
On extending the tenure of the SIT team probing the donation theft case by 15 days, SP chief Akhilesh said, “Donations or donations should not be stopped because they are becoming a big resource for the elections.”
On Congress state president Ajay Rai not being given darshan in Ayodhya, Akhilesh said, the first name of dignity is Prabhu Shri Ram and the second is the Constitution, BJP has betrayed both of them.
Taking aim at the SIT investigation, Akhilesh said, "Whether milk is milk or water or not, silver should be returned, gold should be returned, gold and silver coins should be returned, only if CCTVs are switched off and these people close their eyes. Once BJP appeals, the offerings will automatically come back. If you switch off the CCTV and appeal, then all the offerings will come back."
He also said that Lord Shri Ram belongs to everyone, there is Ram Darbar in all our homes. There is no Sanatani who does not have this tradition in his house, but how can it be possible that BJP decides everything. BJP has played with the Constitution, faith and reverence.
In response to a question, Akhilesh said that the party also needs more donations. Sanatan Pandey, Mata Prasad Pandey and Balram Yadav are all people connected to generations. It is not easy to break a party that is connected to generations. BJP wants to change the Constitution by breaking the MPs.
