The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is conducted to assess the eligibility of candidates aspiring to become teachers in government schools across the state. The exam is held at three levels: Level-1 for Primary Teacher (PRT), Level-2 for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Level-3 for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts. The HTET 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on July 4 and 5, 2026.

Candidates must carry their hall ticket (admit card) to the examination center. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the exam without a valid admit card. The scribe's educational qualification must not exceed the 12th-grade level.

Candidates availing the scribe facility will be granted an additional 50 minutes for the examination.
