Gorakhpur. After the heart-wrenching incident of murder of innocent child in Sahjanwa, Gorakhpur Police is taking every information about missing children very seriously. Now immediate action is being taken on the information of any child going missing in the district so that any possible untoward incident can be prevented in time. The result of this vigilance and activeness was that 14-year-old teenager Amit Maurya, who was missing from Jhangha police station area, was safely recovered by the police within just five to six hours and handed over to his family members.

According to the information, the family became worried when Amit Maurya, son of Indrajit Maurya, resident of village Khapariyabhar of police station Jhangha area, suddenly went missing from home. He immediately reached Jhangha police station and lodged a complaint with the police. As soon as the information was received, Police Station Head Anup Singh took the matter seriously and formed a special team and started the search operation. Police took swift action at possible locations, surrounding areas and other important points. After continuous efforts, the police recovered the teenager safely within about five to six hours.
