In a special conversation with The Lallantop, Huma was asked whether she was not sure about her role in Badlapur whether she should do it or not? On this Huma said that she was scared.

Huma said- I was very scared

Huma said, "I was scared. I was absolutely terrified. I had never played such a bold character. I couldn't understand how it would happen. I was very nervous."

Huma told why the role of sex worker was tricky?

Huma said that that scene and role were quite tricky. She said- I am playing a sex worker, but when something goes wrong with it. Meaning the hero rapes her. That in itself is controversial as to how a sex worker can be raped because you look at them the same way. To make the audience feel that something wrong has happened to them. That's why the last scene of the film is when I tell Varun that your revenge is complete. Now what will you do now? His landing will only happen if he feels bad for you, and you agree that what he did was wrong. So that was very tricky.”

The actress said- she gets a lot of love for this role

Huma said that even though her role in the film was small, she got a lot of love for this role. Huma said that she feels proud of this film. Huma praised the film's director Sriram Raghavan and said that he tries to do something different.
