After marriage, everyone’s eyes are on the first post-wedding look of the new bride and Anshula Kapoor has caught everyone’s attention with her reception/cocktail look. After tying the knot with long-time boyfriend Rohan Thakkar on July 6, 2026, Anshula Kapoor was seen in public with her husband for the first time on July 7. As soon as the couple entered the reception party, the flashes of the cameras continuously turned towards them and discussion about their look started on social media.

This time the most talked about fashion statement of Anshula Kapoor was. Despite being a new bride, she moved away from the traditional bridal style and chose a very classy and modern look. The special thing was that she neither applied vermillion on her forehead, nor wore Mangalsutra around her neck, nor were bangles visible in her hands. Despite this, her entire look appeared very royal, elegant and fashion-forward.

Looked completely different from the traditional look

For her post-wedding reception, Anshula Kapoor wore a custom Banarasi saree by designer Amit Agrawal, which was designed in a completely different way from the traditional style. The saree was crafted in an off-the-shoulder corset style, beautifully combining classic Indian textiles with a modern silhouette. The dramatic pallu of the saree was giving it a gown-like look, but its traditional identity remained completely intact. This fusion style became the biggest feature of her outfit. Apart from this, Anshula kept her look elegant instead of overdressing. She wore a beautiful necklace made of emeralds, pearls and polki, with matching earrings adding charm to her entire look. Besides, the sleek bun hairstyle and glowing makeup further enhanced her minimal but royal style.

Let us tell you that there was a special feeling and story behind every look of Anshula Kapoor’s wedding. In different wedding ceremonies, she sometimes paid respect to the Gujarati customs of her family and her husband (Rohan Thakkar), and sometimes made the memory of her late mother a part of her bridal look. This desi-modern Banarasi saree of the reception was also an extension of the same thinking, in which a beautiful combination of Indian heritage and contemporary fashion was seen. Whereas the groom Raja Rohan Thakkar also looked no less than anyone with his look. She carried a classic look with midnight navy blue embroidered Bandhgala jacket, matching trousers and black shoes. Her subtle and elegant style seemed to be in perfect harmony with Anshula’s glamorous outfit.
