After Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, the demand to liberate the birthplace of Shri Krishna in Mathura has intensified. The saints have announced Kar Seva on August 9 regarding this demand. Saints say that for Sanatanis it is a matter of faith. National President of Kali Sena, Swami Anand Swaroop has appealed to the saints across the country to unite in support of Krishna Janmabhoomi Kar Seva on August 9. He said that this initiative should get the collective support of the religious community.
After an important meeting held in Haridwar, the saints have loudly said that after Ayodhya, now it is the turn of Mathura. The saints said that if not now or never. In this connection, sages and saints announced a grand car service at the birthplace of Shri Krishna in Mathura. President of Mansa Devi Trust, Mahant Ravindra Puri, Peethadhishwar Jagadguru of Shri Chitragupta Peeth in Mathura, Dr. Swami Sachchidanand, Anand Akhara, Mahamandaleshwar, Swami Balakananda were present in the meeting.
The Sant Samaj of Ayodhya has welcomed this announcement. Mahant Sitaram Das of Saket Bhawan said that just as the kar sevaks and saints did kar seva in Ayodhya and demolished the disputed structure, the time has now come for a similar movement. He said that this is a matter of faith for Sanatanis. He said that Shri Krishna's birthplace is the sacred birthplace of Sanatanis. In such a situation, it is the responsibility of the Sanatanis to protect and reconstruct it.
On the call of saints to participate in Kar Seva in Mathura on 9th August, the head of Shri Chitragupta Peeth in Mathura, Jagadguru Swami Sachchidanand said, 'We have fixed the date of 9th August and on 9th August we will do Kar Seva in Braj. A resolution has been taken to install Lord Shri Krishna at his birthplace. Just as Ram Lala was installed, similarly Lord Shri Krishna will also be installed at the same place where he was born.
Swami Sachchidanand said that this time the Sanatani society is in no mood for any kind of delay. He said that talks will be held with the government at the administrative or political level for the liberation of Shri Krishna's birthplace later, before that a big and decisive movement will be launched on the ground.
Here Swami Anand Swaroop said that August 9 is celebrated as Revolution Day in the country. In such a situation, if Kar Seva is organized for Krishna Janmabhoomi on this day, it will be an important occasion. He says that if the government makes an official announcement of the construction of the temple before this, then there will be no need for car service.
He said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already said that Krishna temple will definitely be constructed. He expressed hope that the date of construction of the temple will be announced before August 9. He said that if this does not happen then Sant Samaj will express its support through Kar Seva. He said that the objective of this program would not be to create any kind of conflict but to express one's feelings in a peaceful manner.
National President of Kali Sena said that around 600 to 700 saints from Haridwar will participate in the proposed car service. He said that whenever saints from across the country are called for any religious purpose, they forget all their differences and come together and make the program a success. He expressed that the construction of the temple will be announced before the Kar Seva, so that the Krishna temple can be re-established by respectfully removing the mosque.
At the same time, Mahant Ravindra Puri, President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad also supported the proposed car service for Krishna Janmabhoomi. He said that saints across the country have appealed to the devotees to participate in the program. He said that the common demand of the saints was that the construction of Krishna temple should be started without any delay. He said that all the saints have given a call 'let's go to Mathura'. He said that just as the sages and Mahatmas had gone to Ayodhya, in the same way all the devotees should also go. He said that everyone has only one demand that the temple should be constructed immediately.
