Tezzbuzz Desk – Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has reacted sharply to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's statement regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India's foreign policy. He termed Rahul Gandhi's remarks as condemnable and said that such language and conduct is a matter of serious concern for Indian democracy.
Rajnath Singh said that Rahul Gandhi's comment is not only very low level, but he is personally pained by it. He said that in his long political career he had never seen any opposition leader behaving like this.

The Defense Minister defended the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and said that he has worked to increase India's prestige at the international level. According to Rajnath Singh, such remarks against the Prime Minister are not only an insult to him, but it also affects India's international image and the dignity of democratic institutions.
He questioned the Congress whether after such conduct the party can claim the legacy of those great leaders who made significant contributions to the democratic and political history of the country.
Rajnath Singh said that the post of Leader of Opposition has its own dignity and responsible conduct is expected from the person holding this post.
Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra regarding Rahul Gandhi's statement Eknath Shinde Also took aim. He raised questions on Rahul Gandhi and opposition parties regarding the opposition's criticism on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign policy.
Shinde said the opposition should be proud of India's growing global prestige and economic progress. He alleged that the opposition was criticizing the country's achievements instead of accepting them.
The political rhetoric between the ruling party and the opposition regarding Prime Minister Modi's foreign policy and India's global role is continuously intensifying. The issue has become more heated due to the way BJP leaders have retaliated after Rahul Gandhi's statement.
