Wardha: Three schoolgirls were killed after a private bus hit the two-wheeler they were riding near a school in Maharashtra’s Wardha district, police said on Saturday.

The incident occurred in Hinganghat town on Friday morning, following which the driver of the bus was arrested, they said. “Three schoolgirls were killed after a private bus hit the two-wheeler they were riding from behind. The accident took place near Ambedkar School,” an official said.


The deceased were identified as Samruddhi Rupak Dhamse (15), Aruhi Raju Chavre (17) and Misbah Javed Sheikh (17), all local residents, he said.
