On the glorious occasion of 80th Independence Day, District Magistrate Charcha Gaur saluted the tricolor by hoisting the national flag in the Collectorate premises.

After this, they paid tribute to the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi by garlanding it in Gandhi Udyan and gratefully paid tribute to the sacrifice, struggle and service to the nation of the immortal fighters and brave martyrs of the freedom struggle.

Officers and employees were present on this dignified occasion and pledged to work with full devotion and dedication for the unity, integrity, prosperity and progress of the nation.

This tricolor is not only our national flag but also the story of innumerable sacrifices, self-respect and pride of united India.
