Real Madrid players, both current and former, have this week voiced their support for Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala.

This follows another worrying on-field episode involving the Germany international. Musiala again found himself in the spotlight on Tuesday after collapsing off the ball during a friendly against Heidenheim.

For the second match in a row, Musiala suddenly stopped, appearing dizzy and visibly unwell, before he had to leave the pitch with assistance from the medical staff.

After the match, with concern growing over the gifted midfielder’s condition, more clarity emerged on the situation. In a message posted on his official platforms, Musiala explained that he is dealing with a ‘well-treatable neurological dysfunction’.

The 23-year-old also stressed that his career is not under threat in any way, though precautionary steps may be needed to manage his health in the weeks and months ahead.

At what is clearly a difficult personal moment for Musiala, messages of support have continued to arrive from across the football world. As mentioned above, among those to publicly back the former Chelsea youngster over the last 24 hours were current and former Real Madrid stars.

Among those who responded to Musiala’s latest post were Jude Bellingham, David Alaba and Vinicius Junior.
