ISRO Rocket Production: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)has made important changes in its policy. Under this, Istro will focus on research, development and major space missions. Along with this, it has been reported that the launch and production of regular satellites will be entrusted to private sector companies or Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). India is gearing up to launch a human orbiter next year and plans to complete the 'Indian Space Station' by 2035. India also dreams of landing an Indian citizen on the moon by 2040, and this change will further strengthen this goal.
Currently, there are approximately 450 space startups operating in India. The upstream segment includes all activities, products and infrastructure that ensure the development, testing, launch, operation and maintenance (including information of space conditions) of space assets. The downstream segment includes all the satellite-based applications, services and equipment that drive this business.
