1. Dry the peels

First wash the banana peels thoroughly and cut them into small pieces. Then, dry them in strong sunlight for about three days. Dry the peels until their moisture is completely gone and they become crunchy.

2. Making Powder

When the peels are completely dry, put them in the mixer and grind them finely. Now your natural fertilizer is ready. Use it by keeping it in a dry and airtight container.

According to gardening experts, properly dried banana peel powder can be stored for several months. But, it is necessary to protect it from moisture, so always keep it in a dry and airtight container.

Method of applying fertilizer to plants

There is no need to use this fertilizer in large quantities. One tablespoon of banana peel powder is sufficient for a pot of approximately 8 to 10 inches. Pour it by making a small depression in the upper layer of the soil of the plant and then cover it with soil.

The nutrients present in banana peels can help in plant growth, especially for flowering and fruit-bearing plants. However, the nutritional requirements of every plant are different, so it is better to use fertilizer in limited quantities.
