Michael Olise was linked with a move away from Bayern Munich during the summer, but the France international remained with the German champions after the club made it clear he was not for sale.

Even so, Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen said on Sunday, speaking to German broadcaster Sport1, that he cannot guarantee Olise will still be at the club beyond next summer.

"Making promises in this business is a tricky matter. Whether we can keep him permanently is something we will discuss again in the summer," Dreesen said about Olise's future. The attacker is under contract until 2029.

Referring to the previous summer window, Dreesen also rejected claims that Bayern had received any offers for the forward, who had mainly been linked with Real Madrid and Liverpool.

"That simply wasn't true. That's why I said it publicly. It simply wasn't true. We didn't have any offer on the table. And we've always said we weren't interested. That's exactly our position. Olise is incredibly important for this team. He's a magician on this pitch," he said.
