So he said, "All of them, all those old people. No one can say that I don't like this man. Kishore Kumar ji had a special style. There was a mischievousness, seriousness in him, he used to make people laugh and cry, whether it was as a singer or as an actor. I have not seen a versatile artist like him."

When Gurdas Maan was asked who he likes today, he said, “Today everyone is good.” He further said, “There is one name, a big name, Amitabh Bachchan ji. Dharam Pa ji. Even now if you see him, something starts happening in your mind. Dharam Pa ji has all kinds of colors in him.”

He was further asked if he has ever met Shahrukh. To this he said, “Shahrukh ji loves me a lot. I have worked a little bit in ‘Veer Zara’. I did it just a little bit, but it was fun when he hugged me and lifted me up. Such a loving and hospitable artist. He took me in his car, fed me whatever I wanted to drink and eat and then left me in his car.”

In the conversation, when Gurdas was told that everyone talks about Shahrukh dropping them to the car, he replied, "He is an artist. I mean he is well mannered, he has manners in him, manners and etiquette, etiquette, these are the things. These are the things that make an artist. If those things are missing, then who cares? You are in your place and I am in my place."

People liked the film 'Veer Zaara' and all its songs were also hits. Gurdas gave the song 'Aisa Des Hai Mara' and 'Lohri' to this film. Apart from this, he also did a cameo in the film. In one scene of the film, he was seen doing Bhangra with Shahrukh. This film was a superhit at the box office. Made in a budget of 23 crores, this film earned 97.64 crores worldwide. Recently this film has been re-released. On 13 September, the film has once again hit the theatres.
