Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced a recruitment drive for apprentice posts. Candidates who have completed their ITI, engineering degree or diploma are eligible to apply for these posts. The application process for apprenticeship is available online through the official apprenticeship portal. The last date for submission of online application forms has been fixed as September 30, 2024.

Recruitment Details

A total of 356 vacancies are available in this recruitment drive. Out of these, 165 posts are reserved for trade apprentices, 135 for technician apprentices, and 53 for graduate apprentices.

Eligibility Criteria

For trade apprentice posts, candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade.

For technician apprentices, candidates must have a diploma in engineering.

For Graduate Apprentice posts, applicants must possess a BE/B.Tech degree.

Also, candidates must be between 18 and 28 years of age as on September 30, 2024. However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules.

Application Process

Candidates willing to apply must first register themselves on the Apprenticeship or NATS portal. Once registered, they can proceed to complete the application by providing the required details.
