Shubman Gill remained unbeaten on 33 as India reached 81 for 3 at the end of Friday’s play. Earlier, a potent bowling display, led by Jasprit Bumrah’s 4 for 50, bundled Bangladesh out for 149 runs in their first innings.

Bumrah was the star with the ball, supported by Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja, and Akash Deep, who each took two wickets.
