In the first Test of the two-match series, India is presently playing Bangladesh in Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. As the two Asian countries engaged in combat on the field, head coach Ravi Shastri, a former India all-rounder, and his co-commentator, the illustrious batter Tamim Iqbal of Bangladesh, were having an entirely different conversation in the commentary box. Shastri even made the amusing comparison between Tamim and Hollywood action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger at one point.

Ravi Shastri’s Funny A jab at Tamim Iqbal from Arnold Schwarzenegger
During the third innings, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant were batting at full tilt and hammered the Bangladeshi bowlers all over the field. They were really hitting a lot of sixes all over the place and batting at a very quick pace. In reference to these two batters’ six-hitting prowess from the commentary box, Tamim Iqbal said that in Test cricket, one requires strength and force to clear the boundaries. On the other hand, his fellow analyst disagreed, claiming that time was all that was required.

After some lighthearted conversation, Shastri said that Tamim has struck the most Test sixes of any hitter in the nation with41, despite not having the physique of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“What is the reason for your complaints? You are the greatest player for Bangladesh, but you’re not Arnold Schwarzenegger! Forty-one sixes!” Shastri informed Iqbal
